Attendance of the seminars Linux Basics, System and Network Administration or comparable knowledge
Objective
Linux offers a range of file systems for different requirements, from embedded systems with flash memory to servers with petabyte-range RAID systems. You will gain an overview of common Linux file systems, their configuration and management, strengths and weaknesses and will also look into concepts such as logical volume management and RAID on Linux. An introduction to backup concepts and solutions as well as access to network storage resources (SAN) completes the package. (LPI 201)
