EIZO equips the monitors with numerous features that reduce power consumption and CO2 emissions. EcoView Optimizer reduces the backlight fully automatically without reducing the image quality. Auto EcoView adjusts the brightness of the screen to the ambient light. Both reduce power consumption. In addition, all FlexScan models have a mechanical power switch so that the monitors do not consume any power when switched off.
Environmentally friendly design.
For all components used, EIZO prohibits or monitors the use of prohibited chemical substances in accordance with key environmental standards and laws. In addition, EIZO has succeeded in achieving a smooth, homogeneous colour and texture in the monitor housings without the use of varnish. In this way, EIZO reduces the negative impact on the environment and improves the recyclability of its products. The FlexScan EV monitors are made from 15% recycled plastic.

EIZO uses cardboard boxes made of recycled paper for the packaging of its products and EV monitor transport padding is made of 100% recycled materials.
