Logitech Ergonomie
WHAT IS ERGONOMICS?

Ergonomics is the data-driven study of people and their working environments in order to improve posture, effectiveness, and comfort. For Logitech, it’s about designing for people, and creating tools that are more people-friendly.

NATÜRLICHERE KÖRPERHALTUNG

MORE NATURAL POSTURE.

Ergo products place your hands, wrists, and forearms in a more natural posture—which in turn can help relax your upper body.

GERINGERE BELASTUNG DER MUSKULATUR

LESS MUSCLE STRAIN.

A more natural posture leads to a quantifiable reduction in muscle activity meaning you can work just as productively while putting less strain on key muscles.

MEHR KOMFORT

INCREASED COMFORT.

Reducing pressure, strain, twisting, and bending while adding support leads to a greater level of comfort—immediately and over long periods.

VERBESSERTES WOHLBEFINDEN

IMPROVED WELLBEING.

Physical discomfort can lead to emotional stress. Ergonomic products increase comfort so you can be free to focus on what matters.

                      WELLBEING TIPS.
                      Tip 1.

KEEP YOUR MOUSE AND KEYBOARD CLOSE.

Bring your mouse and keyboard closer to your body so that you don’t need to reach for them. If you use the letter keys more than the number pad, then the H key should line up with the middle of your body. Ensure your wrists are straight and align them with your forearms.

                      Tip 2.

RELAX YOUR SHOULDERS, ALIGN YOUR ELBOWS.

Adjust the height of your desk to ensure your elbows are flush with the table. Raise or lower your desk just below your elbow height until your arms are in a straight line. Your shoulders / arms should be relaxed. Finally, make sure your back is well-supported.

                      Tip 3.

                      YOUR E-MAIL ISN’T GOING ANYWHERE.

It’s difficult to focus on the task at hand when notifications are pinging from your phone and e-mails are piling up in your inbox. Time blocking techniques can greatly improve your productivity and sense of satisfaction. Set aside short blocks of time for specific tasks i.e. writing a report and turn off your phone and close the e-mail window until the time’s up.

                      Tip 4.

                      SET YOURSELF LIMITS.

Find new ways to switch between the working day and private life. Being constantly in work mode can have a damaging impact on physical health and lead to burn out.  Tidy away your work things at a certain time and then don’t touch them again until a specific time the following morning.
