The CMC Group was looking to boost its three Microsoft 365 tenants’ security in order to effectively protect all its sites and manage them homogeneously. The main focus was on better securing user data, bolstering defences against cyberattacks and configuring a robust IT infrastructure.

Solution.

Bechtle carried out a comprehensive risk analysis to identify our vulnerabilities and then worked with our IT department to implement security features such as multi-factor authentication, Data Loss Prevention, Azure AD Identity Protection and Microsoft Purview for data classification and Privileged Identity Management to secure administrative access. All of these combined allowed us to considerably boost the IT security of two of our three tenants and the comprehensive documentation allowed us to easily scale the measures to the third.
