Neckarsulm, 26 February 2019 – The Bechtle Group’s 3D CAD specialists underscored their position as top partners for product development and manufacturing solutions at Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS’ global partner and user event in Dallas, Texas. Bechtle’s subsidiaries Coffee, SolidLine and Solidpro (Germany), planetsoftware (Austria) and Solid Solutions (Switzerland) together took home a total of 38 awards. Numerous employees were also personally recognised.
In mid-February, over 6,000 users, resellers and tech journalists flocked to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas to attend the annual SOLIDWORDS World event. In addition to presenting new strategic developments, this gathering provides an outlook for upcoming SOLIDWORKS products and showcases current 3D CAD software solutions. The software manufacturer also uses this occasion to honour partners for their outstanding performance in the preceding year.
Solid performance by Bechtle Group across the board.
Coffee, which joined the Bechtle Group in February 2019, received 12 awards, including membership in multiple clubs: the 100% Club for meeting all product targets, the Elite 190 Club for excellent service and strong customer retention, the President’s Club 2018 and the Diamond Club for its subscriptions business.
SolidLine was honoured once again as SOLIDWORKS’ top partner in central Europe. It also placed among SOLIDWORKS’ top ten partners worldwide—the only provider in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to do so. The company received a total of ten awards, including recognition as the strongest regional partner for CAD and Composer products as well as the leading partner worldwide for large deals.
Solidpro was honoured as the best reseller in central Europe for subscription services, paving the way to its membership in the Diamond Club EMEAR Subscription. Solidpro also joined the Elite 190 Club for the seventh time, highlighting its relentless pursuit of high customer-service standards.
Austria-based planetsoftware received a total of six awards, which included recognition of its full target achievement (100% Club) in the core CAD business as well as in education. The company was also presented with the 2018 Early Engagement Partnership award and was recognised for its high rate of licence renewals.
Solid Solutions, headquartered in Zurich, received five awards. In addition to its membership in the Elite 190 Club, 100% Club Education, 100% Club 2018 and Diamond Club, the company ranks among the best solutions providers in German-speaking countries in four categories.
Individual employees going above and beyond.
Several employees were recognised for their extraordinary sales performance, namely Michael Schäfer (Solidpro), Ralf Wilke, Alexander Budja and Mike Gregor (SolidLine), Robert Hundstorfer and Alexander Triendl (planetsoftware) and Anna Kelhofer (Solid Solutions). Daniel Thomas of Coffee received five personal awards, not only topping the list of sales representatives in Germany and Europe, but also ranking among the top ten worldwide. Stefan Laustroer (Solidpro) and Guido Flege (Coffee) were named Elite Application Engineers, the highest honour bestowed for SOLIDWORKS technical expertise.
