Neckarsulm, 28.07.2011 – According to preliminary figures, Bechtle shows significant growth again in the second quarter. Between April and June, consolidated revenues climbed to around 457 million euros, some 21 per cent above the previous year (Q2 2010: 375 million euros). The increase in earnings is once more above average. Earnings before taxes are expected to be over 19 million euros, a plus of some 80 per cent compared to the previous year (11.0 million euros). This means an EBT margin of 4.3 per cent, after 2.9 per cent in the same period last year.
“Bechtle’s positive and remarkable development has continued into the second quarter of the year, and in particular in terms of profitability, which has increased significantly. This is a sound foundation for another record-setting year 2011”, says Dr. Thomas Olemotz, CEO at Bechtle AG.
The interim report for the second quarter of 2011, which includes the final figures, will be published on 10 August 2011.
