Certified business processes.

Structured management processes build the confidence of our customers and partners. They help us fully leverage our business opportunities and react quickly to market changes. Many Bechtle Group subsidiaries already boast ISO 9001 quality management certification. The Bechtle AG offices in Neckarsulm and Gaildorf, Germany, have also introduced an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system. And its data centres in Friedrichshafen, Neckarsulm and Rüsselsheim, Germany, comply with stringent IT security standards as certified by ISO 27001. That means our data—and, more importantly, your data—is safe and secure.

Process quality.

ISO 9001 quality management standard is a globally recognised hallmark of excellence. Certification requires all tested processes to demonstrate outstanding quality. To us, it means increasing the transparency of our operating procedures and uncovering potential problem areas in an effort to boost customer satisfaction.

ISO 9001 sets out requirements for quality management systems (QMS). Certification is just the beginning of an ongoing process of improvement. This means implementing measures to enhance the quality of our products and services, so that we can better meet the needs of our customers. Annual reviews by DQS (our certification company) ensure - in addition to the regularly conducted internal reviews - the continuous improvement of our quality management system according to ISO 9001.

Environmental protection.

ISO 14001 defines universally acknowledged criteria for environmental management systems (EMS). Bechtle is committed to protecting the environment, and we strive to use our resources responsibly. Bechtle AG was certified against ISO 14001 after introducing an EMS in 2011. The system has since become an integral part of daily business at Bechtle’s headquarters, leading to recertification in 2014.

The EMS has enabled us to identify and continually reduce our environmental footprint. Our efforts have saved energy for electricity and heating, reduced the consumption of paper and water, and lowered emissions. We’ve also consistently brought recycled products back on the market, giving them a new lease on life. The fundamental principle of EMS—which is to save resources and use them responsibly—applies to Bechtle AG and all other Group subsidiaries. Our employees are made aware of issues concerning the environment.

At its headquarters in Neckarsulm, Bechtle operates a photovoltaic system with a total output of around 1,900 kWp. The electricity generated by renewable energy shall be used for both the office buildings and vehicle charging points. This resource-saving energy supply is just one of the many ways Bechtle is helping to save the Earth.

Occupational health & safety.

In 2021, Bechtle AG introduced an occupational health and safety management system and was certified according to ISO 45001. The ISO 45001 standard defines globally recognized requirements for occupational health and safety management.

As a company, we assume responsibility towards our employees and are committed to ensuring that workplaces are designed to be safe and conducive to good health. We attach great importance to compliance with statutory regulations, occupational safety and health protection.  Since acting on one's own responsibility is an important component of our corporate culture, we also want to raise awareness with regard to possible hazards and negative effects on health.

ISO 45001 certification helps us to provide our employees with a safe and productive working environment in which they can feel comfortable and also avoid work-related injuries and illnesses.

The extremely high value we attach to occupational safety and health protection is made clear by the ISO 45001 certification, which covers the following scope within Bechtle AG: Facilities Management (FM), Event Management (VMT), Facilities Management/Central Services, Total Human Resources.
