Choosing sustainable technology.
Technology directly influences resource consumption and environmental impact, but also corporate productivity and security. To ensure future success, it is, therefore, essential to see tech investments as an opportunity to promote sustainability and have a positive impact on the world around us.
It’s time to seize the opportunity for greater sustainability. It’s true that laser printers consumes more energy than comparable ink devices due to their heating elements, but energy consumption for printing only makes up around 10% of the device’s entire carbon footprint. HP LaserJet printers are designed taking into account their full lifecycle, with investments made in comprehensive optimisations.

HP TerraJet and JetIntelligence are HP’s most advanced toner technologies to date and contribute to making printers more compact thanks to their smaller size.
Less time and energy to warm up means faster response times and accelerate print workflows.
HP TerraJet and JetIntelligence toner print yields are greater despite their smaller size meaning you use fewer cartridges over the course of the printer’s life.
Automatic toner level detection calculates the individual lifecycle of each cartridge for smooth supply management.
Specially developed low-melt technology consumes less energy than previous generation cartridges because the toner particles melt at a lower temperature.
HP cartridges have been design so that they fulfil the strict emissions criteria of well-known environmental seals such as “Blauer Engel” to ensure clean indoor air.
The cartridges are made of more recycled than new plastics and are also packaged in less plastic to reduce raw material consumption.
HP TerraJet toner cartridges are produced and packaged in such a way that they save up to 26 plastic bottles 2 compared to previous models!3
Sustainability with HP Managed Print Services.
HP print innovation was born from the idea to optimise the print infrastructure and also reduce resource and energy consumption. The key to success is simple. You need the right products in the right places to achieve the optimum in economic printing, which is where HP Managed Print Services come in.
A3, A4 or a combination or both? As an HP Managed Print Service Partner, we know exactly the right mix needed to achieve your sustainability goals. We analyse your company’s print needs to optimise your infrastructure as required and through the proactive management of your fleet, you’ll benefit from increased productivity while reducing your carbon footprint.
HP has been offering its CarbonNeutral® MPS since 2020. The programme has been designed to minimise the carbon impact of printing and offset emissions and covers everything from extracting raw materials, manufacture and transportation to the use of printers and their consumables and their return and recycling. It also includes measures for protecting forests and reforestation in an effort to further offset carbon emissions. CarbonNeutral®-certified print solutions:
- Reduce paper waste by 25%4
- Decrease ecosystem impacts by 12%5
- Improve resource efficiency by 13%4
