Neckarsulm, 8 November 2022 – Bechtle has received the “Gesunder Arbeitgeber” award for its Neckarsulm headquarters. The award from the international market research institute, EUPD Research, certifies exemplary corporate health services and offers potential employees guidance when choosing a future employer.
“The health of our employees is very important to us, which is why, over the past few years, we’ve put together a very popular and wide-ranging offering to boost health and wellbeing. We’re delighted with the certification as it’s great confirmation of our programme’s high quality standard,” says Carolin Kühner, who leads Corporate Health Management within Bechtle AG’s Human Resources department.
Status affirmed after detailed audit
The “Gesunder Arbeitgeber” certification presented by established market research institute, EUPD Research, is awarded to companies that undergo a detailed audit to demonstrate their commitment to their employees’ health, as well as their future-facing, sustainable HR strategy. Bechtle fulfils the required criteria and will sport two seals of excellence for corporate health promotion and management for one year.
“We’d like to emphasise that Bechtle scored very highly in health communication. A central intranet site and calendar gives all employees round-the-clock access to all information on offerings and events. Bechtle’s Neckarsulm site is a model example of how corporate healthcare can be a success,” says Steffen Klink, COO, EUPD Research.
Prevention, nutrition and exercise
Bechtle employees have a comprehensive range of corporate health management measures at their fingertips—ranging from prevention to nutrition and, of course, exercise. These include preventative checks for physical and mental health, highly nutritious and varied meals in the Aramark company restaurant and numerous exercise options with on-site and online classes. The most popular are morning yoga, TRX training and individual nutrition consultations.
To support employees even better in the future, Bechtle plans an ongoing, group-wide expansion of the CHM programme, firmly anchored in the Bechtle Sustainability Strategy.
