Bechtle AG has acquired Viritim Systemhaus GmbH, strengthening its position in the software and application solutions business with additional competence in the field of collaboration. Founded in 2001 in Karlsruhe, the IT system house specialises in the growing market for SharePoint and Exchange technology. Viritim, who employs ten experienced consultants, will merge with Bechtle subsidiary HanseVision. Dirk Becker and Jürgen Krummer, Viritim's managing directors, will remain with the company and join HanseVision's management team. The newly acquired team of specialists will move into new offices at the Bechtle IT system house in Karlsruhe.
Neckarsulm/Karlsruhe, 18 March 2013 – After the 2011 and 2012 acquisitions of SharePoint specialists HanseVision GmbH in Hamburg and Redmond Integrators GmbH in Bochum, Bechtle AG is now further boosting its competence in the area of collaboration through the acquisition of another qualified and experienced team. Effective immediately, the Viritim Systemhaus GmbH now joins the Bechtle Group, adding twelve years of Microsoft SharePoint and Exchange expertise, and a portfolio that encompasses consulting, planning, project implementation and support. Their specialists are particularly well versed in the migration from Lotus Notes to MS Exchange. As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, active primarily in the Enterprise field, the company has extensive project experience working with large corporate groups. In the past, Viritim has already collaborated on various customer projects with both Bechtle IT system houses and HanseVision. In the 2012 financial year, the company generated a revenue of around 1 million euros.

With HanseVision and Redmond Integrators, Bechtle has, in the past two years, built up SharePoint teams in Hamburg, Bochum, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich and Neckarsulm. This regional list will now be expanded to include Karlsruhe.
