Neckarsulm, 30 October 2020 – This year’s Cisco Partner Summit on 29 October saw Bechtle walk away with three awards as one of the major winners among Cisco’s international partners. The day’s biggest prize sees Bechtle honoured as the technology giant’s outstanding partner worldwide. Germany’s largest IT system house was named Global Enterprise Partner of the Year 2020 in recognition of its extraordinary performance, innovation, above average growth and dedication to the training and certification of its employees. Bechtle was also awarded Technology Excellence Partner of the Year: Data Centre and Enterprise II Partner of the Year Germany for its work in the German market. Bechtle is the proud owner of numerous Cisco Advanced and Master certifications for the manufacturer’s solutions and architecture products.
Global Enterprise Partner of the Year acknowledges Bechtle’s outstanding expertise and successful development of its enterprise business, but Bechtle has also grown in the areas of consultation, sales and services related to the Cisco portfolio. International customers not only benefit from Bechtle’s wide-ranging service offering, but also from a strong partner network, which supports IT processes and the Cisco portfolio around the world.
As a leading partner, Bechtle also successfully promotes Cisco’s modern data centre solutions, including integrated architecture, on the market. The primary goal of all these activities is to continuously enhance IT as a value-added asset in enterprises and organisations.
“The award is an expression of our excellent partnership and cements our importance for Cisco. We are united by our aspiration to drive success among our corporate customers and public sector organisations worldwide with future-facing solutions. It’s a great team effort combined with Cisco’s advanced technology that gives us a sustainable foothold in the market,” says Michael Guschlbauer, COO IT System House and managed Services, Bechtle AG.
Bechtle and Cisco can look back on a long-term, successful partnership. In addition to Cisco Competence Centres featuring highly specialised experts, Bechtle also operates an extensive network of IT system houses that possess thorough expertise in Cisco products and solutions. This increasingly includes Cisco data centre solutions that have recently been the focus of intense development thanks to the increasing trend towards digital transformation and multi-cloud concepts. The aim is for customers to leverage Cisco architectures as the foundation for long-term modernisation.
“It gives me great pleasure to recognise these partners who continue to demonstrate superior performance and drive value for our customers”, said Oliver Tuszik, Senior Vice President, Global Partner Organisation, Cisco. “It’s an honour to present Bechtle with these awards and their recognition of outstanding achievement in helping customers respond to their business challenges.”
