Most Windows PCs on sale now can upgrade for free as long as all minimum system requirements are met. Eligible devices can be upgraded free of charge for as long as needed. However, Microsoft reserves the right to end support for the free offer at the earliest one year after its release to the general public. Windows 10 support is expected to continue until 14 October 2025.
