“I joined Bechtle’s AV team on 1 March 2023. I have a real passion for AV and have spent more than ten years working on innovative and goal-oriented AV and IT solutions. As a project manager, I’ve been focused for the past three years on implementing and integrating Microsoft Teams Rooms into our customers’ IT environments and their organisations. I’m really looking forward to working with this team and helping even more companies with our hybrid work solutions.”

“My name’s Thijs, I’m 34 years old and I’ve been with Bechtle since 2020, so some of our customers have known me for a couple of years. During the pandemic, I was able to help them transition to hybrid working and that was pretty cool. I draw a lot of energy from building lasting customer relationships. It’s fantastic when I see how a project helps our customers save time and enhance their collaboration. After all, hybrid work isn’t just a one-off project; it’s a new way of working and you first have to invest time if you want to get it all right. At Bechtle, I have a lot of creative room when we roll out such a project and I use it to help our customers maximise savings on both time and money, for example through more efficient meetings. Besides AV, Bechtle possesses extensive expertise on everything IT, so we can support our customers end to end as they transition to new working styles. For instance, we advise them on the right licensing options for Microsoft Teams Rooms, but we also make sure that their network is ready for their new AV equipment. That’s what’s making our AV offering so great.”

“I’ve been working for Bechtle since 2019, originally as an account manager, but after a few years I decided to specialise in AV, and in particular video meeting and conferencing solutions with a focus on Microsoft Teams. I’m really proud of the AV solutions I have implemented for our customers, including some large government and healthcare organisations. I think it’s amazing how video meetings can make communication and collaboration better. Thanks to my experience as an account manager, I have a very good grasp of their IT needs and can align our approach to their specific situation. I’m always growing as a professional and seeking out new ways to expand my skills and expertise and share that with my customers and colleagues.”

“Hi, I’m Daniel, I’m 39 years old and I’ve been with Bechtle since 2013. I kicked off my career as an account manager and later grew into the role of an AV consultant. As a sales person, I have accumulated a lot of IT knowledge backed by various training opportunities and practical experience through diverse customer situations. During the pandemic, digital work was obviously the hottest topic and I really shifted into gear as I was right on the pulse of all developments in this area as it was. I was really excited when I was given the opportunity to become an AV consultant within this great team and to see my knowledge turn into real-life solutions. No two days in this job are the same. There are so many different customers with their own unique challenges, and that’s just what I love about my role—working together to always find the best solution. In the evenings, I always come back home with a smile on my face because our customers are happy with what we do, and we can tell it, too.

“I’m Kees, 31, and I joined Bechtle in 2016. Even as a kid I was very interested in anything to do with IT, so it was clear to me from a very young age that I wanted to work in that field, and in particular on the business-side of things. Over the past years I’ve grown from junior account manager to team lead, a challenging role where I really have to get to grips with what our customers want and map that to the skills available across our organisation. Coaching my team is something that really energises me—working together on the next success, creating win-win situations. As the world (of IT) is changing around us, my work—just like yours—is changing with it. This constant change is something I love about the times we’re living in. The world of AV is no different. There are new developments every day, so every day we can make our customers’ lives that much easier, and in new and different ways. AV is always coming up with new solutions to make interaction more intuitive. It allows us to work with people all over the globe, not just through video telephony but complete, collaborative, virtual meeting experiences. I enjoy the challenge of guiding our customers beyond the capabilities of video conferencing.
