The German municipality of Nordkirchen was looking for a modern software solution to streamline its PDF processes to simplify every-day tasks in general administration and create and sign PDFs in a single application. The new program also needed to be highly versatile, user-friendly, and affordable while simultaneously simplifying IT admin.

From all the solutions on the market that came into consideration, Nitro Pro met all of Nordkirchen’s needs the best, allowing them to create, edit, sign and share PDFs all in one. And with complete integration of apps like Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Google Drive, over 300 file formats can be edited and converted to PDF, while the option of using an unlimited number of digital signatures accelerates the document approval and signature process. The Nordkirchen municipality was won over by the affordability as well as features like password protection, permissions management, and OCR (optical character recognition). As a Nitro partner, Bechtle helped the municipality to procure the licences they needed and supported the IT department throughout installation and setup of the software. A later update to Nitro Pro v14 allowed Nordkirchen to establish centralised licensing management and further improve their document processes.
