This course requires the following prior knowledge: Using VMware vSphere Web Client for status requests and working with virtual machines (opening a console, snapshots, properties, creating templates from a virtual machine and vice versa). Also required is knowledge of Windows Active Directory including DNS and DHCP as well as time synchronisation, limiting user activities via group policy objects, setting up of remote desktop connections, setting up an ODBC connection to an SQL server.
Objective
You'll learn hands-on how to deploy virtual machines and applications via a single virtual desktop infrastructure platform. You will also learn how to set up and roll out "pools of virtual machines" as well as many tips and tricks relating to virtual machines. This course serves as preparation for the Desktop Management VCP-DTM certification.
