• Devices that withstand the elements – Samsung’s Rugged devices fulfil IP68 and MIL-STD 810H standards and can hold their own against water, knocks and dust. Moreover, they can be fully immersed in water and deal with temperatures of up to 60 to 80°C as well as low temperatures of up to -20 to -30°C.
• Longer lifespan – Samsung’s Rugged devices come with a battery that’s easy to swap out, wherever you happen to be, and they’re available for five years. All other spare parts have an even longer availability of up to seven years.

* MIL-STD 810G is a test standard developed by the US military to precisely evaluate device limits in extreme conditions. The device can withstand drops of up to 1.2 metres without a case and 1.5 metres with. The results of the drop test were based on internal, research and development laboratory tests conducted by Samsung. Test methods comprise a drop test onto a plywood surface on top of concrete from a height of 1.2 metres.
