Our successful Belgian recipe brings together five different ingredients: exactly the number of Business Units at Bechtle direct Belgium. Although our departments can work separately, we’re stronger together. Joining forces makes us the best IT partner for our customers. Just think of what we achieve when the Sales team calls on the expertise of the Business Solutions team. Or how the Marketing team, supported by other departments, reinforces our story. Bechtle needs all these ingredients to create a powerful end product – just like our Ginious.

Ginious 

The name Ginious is a blend of the words ‘gin’, ‘genius’, ‘ingenious’ and ‘delicious'. So far, so clear! Alongside that, Ginious’ alcohol content is exactly 39.10% – the postcode of Pelt, where our premises are located. We’ve literally distilled our roots into this gin.

The icing on the cake

The flavours of each Business Unit combine to make the gorgeous ensemble of flavours in our Ginious gin. The mistletoe and bergamot provide a pleasant aftertaste, with an extra bit of spice courtesy of the pink pepper and peppermint. The cherry extract in our gin adds a lovely roundness to the flavour. All the other flavours are geared toward this one: the flavour that symbolises our management. At Bechtle, they form the strong team that brings together all the Business Units. Just like in our gin, they’re the icing on the cake for our company.

The best way to change the future is to create it yourself

Sustainability is at the heart of Bechtle. Every day is a learning process in which we try to become better and more sustainable. That’s why we chose to have a ‘green’ bottle made from 100% recycled glass. Alongside echoing our logo, this bottle embodies our sustainability strategy. Bechtle AG aims to be CO2-neutral by 2023. We’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint by monitoring and understanding our carbon emissions.

One of our initiatives to make our operations greener is Project Replay, which includes measures to control and offset our emissions. As an IT reseller, we don’t make our products in-house, so our impact on the production process is limited. But thanks to Project Replay, we’ve found a way to reduce our carbon footprint.

Our Ginious story is something we’re proud of and are eager to share. Ginious is a way of celebrating our long-lasting customer partnerships. Let’s raise our glasses to that!
