The NEW Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 v7 introduces the ability to create immutable backup copies meaning you can rest assured that your Microsoft 365 data are reliably protected against ransomware. Copies that cannot be changed can be stored in ANY object storage repository such as Azure Blob/Archive, Amazon S3/Glacier and anything S3-compatible.
Extended monitoring and reporting.
In Veeam ONE™ v12, Version 7 provides NEW integration for monitoring and reporting. This means you can proactively monitor Microsoft 365 backup and storage resources, receive notifications to instantly resolve issues and leverage SLA reports to ensure adherence with RPO and compliance policies.
More control with BaaS.
Based on existing Veeam Service Provider Console features, v7 enables more control when using BaaS for your Microsoft 365 backups from a Veeam cloud and service provider. Clients can not independently create backups, monitor their data and recover it at any time without having to contact the service provider.
Recovery optimisation in the self-service portal.
The recovery self-service portal now supports Microsoft Teams alongside Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. Users can select individual recovery points as required and recover SharePoint Online plus OneDrive for Business folders.
