To be able to monitor a service’s complete stack (e.g. your website or a business-critical app), you need to know what’s going on in your infrastructure. Application resource management (ARM) tools are an optimum solution when they can be integrated into APM and experience monitoring. Cisco Intersight Workload Optimization (IWO) carries out this task in heterogeneous landscapes—cross-platform and hybrid. IWO makes sure that resources are automatically allocated and optimised when APM solutions such as AppDynamics detect an issue.

Intersight Workload Optimizer (IWO) also analyses data centre load, cloud usage as well as the resources actually needed by individual applications and then either recommends appropriate measures or optimises the resources automatically and independently.
